Reporting news about superheoes and the comic book community through the perspective of a non- comic book nerd college student.Tumblr (3.0; @superheroes-according-to-me)http://superheroes-according-to-me.tumblr.com/<p>Okay, as much as I personally didn&#8217;t like Damian because he took away Tim Drake&#8217;s title of Robin, he finally started to come together as a rounded character and actually became similar to any one of us in the sense that every child wants to please their parents. He is the first Robin to portray the actual &#8220;boy&#8221; in boy wonder and I liked the idea of Batman&#8217;s son actually being his partner and his child. The amount of story telling is immense and its a real waste now.</p> <p><br/>I was almost at first because I thought maybe this was DC&#8217;s way of fixing Tim&#8217;s &#8220;not really Robin&#8221; crap and making him Robin again, but now I see that is silly and people seem to like him as Red Robin. <br/>Now they have this other random girl that they&#8217;ve basically portrayed as a female Jason Todd when they could have introduced Stephanie Brown in the new 52 (which I&#8217;m sure many fans would have loved)</p> <p>Now this is Jason Todd all over again and it&#8217;s going to be angsty and I&#8217;m just not interested. Morrison is being a selfish little shit thinking he &#8220;owns&#8221; Damian, but he doesn&#8217;t even seem to care how much the fans care for his character.
